Tea house B&B   is a 3-star facility nestled in Kigali (Rwanda) between Kimironko and Gisimenti neighborhoods. It is within a five-minute drive from Kigali International Airport as well as to many essential services such as; banks, Forex exchanges, restaurants, bars and pubs, Croix du Sud Hospital, supermarkets (La Colombe, Sawa City, and Kimironko Simba Supermarket) and Kigali’s famous Kimironko Market which offers both Rwandan arts and crafts and fresh fruit and vegetables.

Moto taxis are available around the house while the closest bus stop is at short, about 7-minute walk. The property also has a car and motorcycle available for customers if necessary, for trips within Kigali.

The property comprises of 8 rooms; 6 with private bathrooms and 2 with a shared bathroom. Two of the 8 rooms have spacious balconies with a view of both the property’s beautiful garden and of the gently rolling hills of greater Kigali in the distance.

Five of the rooms are on the ground floor well as the other three are on the second floor. All the rooms are fitted with Wi-Fi, mosquito nets, multiple power plugs, wardrobes, and a desk. All bathrooms have hot water, flush toilets, and sufficient shower pressure.

For a long stay such as; one month and added months, the property offers a 50% discount (excluded breakfast), 2 weeks stay 25% off (excluded breakfast), and 1 week stay 10% off however, these offers and discounts are not available in July, August, September and December.

For any additional person in the room, guests will be charged an added extra amount of US$ 10. An additional bed can be added upon request for US$ 10.

The price of a room also includes a hearty and healthy breakfast as the perfect start to your day (not included with the spiced tea room), consisting of eggs, fruit juice, fresh fruits, bread, coffee or tea, and handmade cakes/crepes/cookies. However, guests can turn a floor into an apartment; it is possible to rent an entire floor.

The three rooms on the second floor (Lemon grass, Red Rooibos and African Tea) make a three-bedroom apartment that includes two balconies and a comfortable living room with a TV and a sofa thus being an ideal choice for a family! The first-floor rooms can also be rented as a private apartment complete with; 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, and two balconies.

The property contributes to Rwandan artistic and economic empowerment. Most of its furnishings, interior decorations, and some furniture in the bedrooms, the dining room, and the living room have been bought from local cooperatives, young Rwandan artists, and women to support local artisans financially and artistically.
